Landscape photography as a corporate identity

Energy supplier Continuon hired Jeroen Bouman for landscape photography that could reinforce their corporate identity.

The client had very specific demands regarding the locations, my job was to find the story and the landscapes that met these demands. It resulted in a series of typically Dutch landscapes, but with a realistic view of the present. The cow in a field with a windmill could of course not be left out, but The Netherlands is more than that. Nowadays Holland also means highways, high rise office buildings, industry and suburbs.

“For this assignment I've had to return to the same spot again and again, untill the light and all the other elements were 'picture perfect'. No people in front of the camera this time, but it's great to walk through the fields and get all muddy. Before this shoot I had never thought that muddy clothes could be a consequence of commercial photography."
