Photography for annual reports and corporate brochures

Annual reports and corporate brochures often require the photographer to take the layout into account. Jeroen Bouman therefore shows most of the photos in this portfolio as 'tear sheets'. In other words: the way they've been used in publications, like a corporate brochure, an annual report, leaflets, and photography for various other form of corporate communications.

"Graphic design and photography constitute an entity and can reinforce each other when everything falls into place. Nowadays digital photography makes the process a lot easier and faster. With the camera tethered to a computer, a PDF of the layout can be projected onto the captured photo as a 'layover'. You can check instantly if everything fits together. But communication between photographer, art director and client remains indispensable, even in the digital age."
